1st Users days in Germany
The first German users’ days‚ held in Heidenheim on 1st and 2nd March 2012‚ were a great success.
25 users successfully shared their experience on how they use Rodin4D in their day to day work.
At the end of these two days‚ all participants said they were extremely satisfied and each left with many new ideas to test and experiment.

Tip of the month: How to re-centre the 3D form?
The form can be re-centred in the viewer using the 0 button in the lower left corner of the 3D area or by holding down the CTRL key then a click with the middle mouse button or by using the keyboard "Home" key.

Our interest came from a desire to progress and the possibility to offer other services to our patients and the prescriber.
In your opinion‚ what are the benefits of Rodin4D?
Rodin4D has given us greater working comfort and the ability to work more tidily and faster.
Today‚ what results have you obtained by using CAD/CAM?
The results are positive‚ except financially since I don’t have enough work to make the milling machine profitable.
But‚ I love using the scan‚ the rework on the computer; we only need to take the measurements and adapt a library.
How long did it take you to implement your CAD/CAM project?
A first meeting in Leipzig in May and the system was installed in February; I find the timescale reasonable.
We had a few ordeals at customs and with funding‚ but it was all worthwhile.
After this experience‚ how do you see the future?
I have high hopes in Captevia. I really hope it can help us with trauma patients and make taking measurements even more comfortable for the patient and us.
