New PU-FixPro tool for polyurethane blocks (12/01/2011)
Used for thermoforming, the PU-FixPro fastener is an all-in-one tool used to fix the foam block and create the vacuum.
This system offers multiple advantages:
- Stable: With its square end, the tool can be easily fixed in a clamp. Moreover, threading on the tool holds the foam block firmly anchored and prevents it from rotating around itself.
- Clean: The PU-FixPro is covered by a special type of plastic which adhesives and resins cannot adhere to. Therefore, the tool remains clean and the technician does not have to clean it.
- Multifunction: In addition to providing block stability, the PU-FixPro has a perforation which crosses it from one side to the other, along with a 1/8” valve. The tool can thus be used to create the vacuum directly during thermoforming operations.
