New for your Rodin4D Model S milling machine: the prosthetics milling bar!

Prosthetics milling bar Rodin4DUntil now, a standard foam block was used to mill the positive of a prosthetics device, i.e. a foam block with a through cavity to interlock the milling machine clamp bar.

The drawback for femoral and tibial prosthetic devices was that with the bar in place it was not possible to machine the extremity of the stump.
Once the positive was machined, the hole had to be filled in with plaster.

With the new milling bar, specially designed for prosthetics, it is now possible to machine a closed form for the femoral or tibial stump!

This milling bar is fixed to the chuck and comes with two new references for foam blocks specially designed for this purpose. The foam block is locked in place by slightly tightening a screw at the lower end of the bar.

This milling bar can be adapted to all Rodin4D model S milling machines and is already available for order. Likewise, new foam block references are available: The references are P1-B and P2-B, equivalent to the references P1 and P2 with no through hole and are available at the same price.
