Two scientific researches presented in Chicago February 26th at the 36th Annual Meeting of the AAOP were made using the  Rodin4D solution :

Orthotic Treatment of Pectus Carinatum: Assessing Outcomes with Digital Laser Scanner

Summary: The author proposes the use of handheld digital laser scanning technology as a clinical method for measuring Pectus Carinatum deformities and anthropometric changes resulting from orthotic treatment.
