Patient digitisation

Replace conventional plaster moulding with digital impressions made using a 3D scanner.
Taking 3D impressions offers numerous advantages for the orthotist or the prosthetist and the patient:

Taking 3D impressions Rodin4D 3D scannerQuick

The impression of your patient can be taken and imported into Rodin4D CADCAM in less than 5 minutes.

Painless

Taking the impression this way is painless, clean, and offers the patient unequalled comfort.

Practical

The impression can be taken anywhere at any time. Compact, the Rodin4DScan solution is easily transportable and comes with a laptop PC and a carrying case.

Precise

To guarantee the accuracy of your digitization, the Rodin4D scanner is equipped with a sensor that corrects the patients' movements. Once the digitization is done, Rodin4DScan is capable of automatically reconstructing the patient's form with accuracy of +/- 0.5mm.

Scan your patient in less than 5 minutes!

  • 1) Start Rodin4D, create a new patient and activate Rodin4DScan.
  • 2) Place the 3D scanner wand about 15cm from the patient, and sweep the part to be scanned with smooth, quick up and down movements: it will take less than 2 minutes.
Throughout the operation, the digitized form is displayed by the Rodin4DScan software and it is possible to delete in a few clicks any parts not needed for the rectification.
  • 3) Save the form for later use, or start rectification with the Rodin4D software.
